~Valley and Ridge Region~
The Valley and Ridge region is about 2,800 square feet. It contains the highest waterfall in Georgia, called the Amicalola Falls: which in the Cherokee language means "tumbling waters." The waterfall drops down 729 feet! A river in the region is the Etowah River. It has a lot of diverse plants and animals, and although it isn't very big in size, it has big variety. Some of the key plants in this region include: Gopher Frogs, The Southern Hognose Snake, The Chicken Turtle, and many more. In conclusion, this region has a wide variety of animals plants, to make it an amazing region in Georgia.
