The Piedmont Region is located between the Blue Ridge Mountains and The Upper Coastal Plains. It is the most populated region in Georgia. It is about 14,000 kilometers long and 100-300 kilometers wide. The southern part of the piedmont goes through Alabama, North and South Carolina. It mostly has oak and hickory trees in its original forests, although not much of it remains. Most of the rivers rise in this region and flow Southeast. There are many rocks in many ages in this region too. It is made of small hills and valleys. Eventually they found to different cultures, and floodplains were found. They mostly grew corn. In conclusion, the Piedmont is very large, has a wide variety of physical features, and has a couple of certain trees in the original forests.
