~ The Coastal Plains~
The coastal plain is a low flat region with small hills, and poorly drained flatlands. It extends to southern Florida and the upper coastal plains; and makes up about half of Georgia. The forests have plants like; longleaf pine and wiregrass. There are seven main drainage systems. Large habitats are made by these drainage systems, so many animals live there, along with helping restore groundwater, and preventing water pollution. The animals that live there are: wild boar, rattle snakes and armadillos.
