The Malcontents
The malcontents were a group of very unhappy people during the colonization of GA. They objected to the regulation and limits that the trustees put on them. They became very impatient due to all of the restrictions, so they sent letters to Oglethorpe complaining. They wanted slaves and rum, because they thought in was very important for the agricultural and freedom of the settlers. They thought the regulations limited their potential to do well in economic potential. This caused great irritation to the trustees...
